7. Wildlife. Shiretoko National Park has a unique marine environment due to the effects of the drift ice. It's rare for drift ice to come this far south and its a good place to see Steller's Sea Eagles. On land the primal forests, volcano ranges and volcanic lakes of the park are home to the Ussuri brown bear, foxes and deer.
